Laundryman

Job Summary : Primary Responsibility of the Role -

Responsible for the daily operation of allocated machines. Ensure all machines are in working order to maximize the

efficiency of the laundry operation and report any defects promptly. Carry out routine / in-depth cleaning and maintenance.

Wash, dry, feed, fold, stack and move all the company linen processed within the laundry area daily. Wash / dry clean

uniforms and personal clothing using the relevant machines.

Check all processed items such as linen, uniform, and personal clothing are clean and reach the required quality

standards. Take out of service items that do not meet the required standards and report any misuse to the Laundry

Manager.

Make sure that the area is kept clean and always maintained, ensuring there is no cross contamination of dirty and clean

linen.

Receive and store all linen stock in line with company standards and complete the condemned linen record log.

Carry out all tasks safely and in accordance with all current safety and company regulations.
