📌 Job Overview

The Demi Chef De Partie supports the Chef De Partie in managing a specific kitchen section, ensuring consistent preparation and presentation of dishes. This role requires solid culinary skills, the ability to supervise junior staff, and efficiency in a high-volume, fast-paced galley environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Chef De Partie in daily kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure quality, taste, and presentation consistency
  • Supervise and guide Commis chefs and kitchen assistants
  • Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards (HACCP compliance)
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients (FIFO)
  • Support smooth service during peak hours

👨‍🍳 Skills & Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines and cooking techniques
  • Leadership ability to manage junior team members
  • Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • High standards of hygiene and discipline
